The Translation of Tamil Words
When translating Tamil words into English, it’s important to remember to use the same transliteration as the original language. For example, “kalaigna” (black) would be written as “black” in English, and “vandana” (sky) would be written as “vandana” in Tamil. Additionally, when translating between different scripts, it may help to use a Cyrillic alphabet for Tamil words since this script is used more often in southern India than the other Indian scripts.
